From the initial cost of your caravan or lodge to running costs, here's a breakdown to better understand the financial side to owning a holiday home.

What are pitch fees?

Pitch fees cover the cost of the ground - or pitch - where your holiday home sits. The cost is used towards facilities and services including:


  • Upkeep of the grounds and landscaping
  • Grass cutting
  • Maintenance and security
  • Use of all park facilities such as swimming pools.

These fees can be paid either in full every year or through direct debit.

Lodge

How much are pitch fees?


The amount you’ll pay will depend on:

  • Your chosen park and on-site facilities
  • The size of your holiday home
  • The pitch you choose.

Can I buy a static caravan or lodge on finance?

You can buy your static caravan or lodge on finance, subject to status and acceptance. Using finance can help you to spread the cost through equal monthly payments for an agreed number of years at a fixed interest rate.
